Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking a motivated Accounting Tutor to join our New Media, Arts, Business and Computing Faculty. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting student success, and contributing to programme development.
About the Role
You will teach a range of accounting courses, as below but not limited to:
- Applied Accounting
- Taxation
- Management Accounting
- Financial Accounting
- Accounting Information systems
Key responsibilities include lesson planning, assessment, student support, administrative tasks, and participation in programme review and improvement.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- An accounting undergraduate qualification
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- A student-focused, collaborative approach
- Industry experience
While previous teaching experience would be an advantage, training is available, with academic staff being required to undertake study towards the National Certificate in Adult Education and Training, offered through SIT.
