About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our international presence. You will lead international marketing, recruitment, and partnership development, while ensuring high-quality support for our international learners. Your leadership will help strengthen our global connections and uphold our commitment to bicultural values and student success. This role requires travel to international markets when necessary to support recruitment and partnership activities.

Essential qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in business, international relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of international education systems and global market trends.
  • Knowledge of vocational education and training frameworks in New Zealand.
  • Familiarity with immigration policies and international student compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.
  • Clean full driver's licence

Desirable experience

  • Proven experience in international marketing, recruitment, or partnership development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Skilled in strategic planning and implementation of international initiatives.
  • Experience in budget management and financial accountability.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external.
  • Ability to conduct and apply international market research to inform decision-making.

Preference will be given to candidates who also demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Experience working with international agents and academic partners.

Understanding of branding, marketing campaigns, and publication standards.

Familiarity with quality assurance systems and continuous service improvement.

Ability to support pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.

Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in education settings.

Willingness to undertake delegated projects and tasks as required.
