OCCUPATIONAL/PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NURSE - 0.6 Proportion (3 days per week)

Southern Institute of Technology is currently seeking applications for the above position within the Student Support Team. A current practicing certificate is required and preference will be given to those who have had previous experience in this field of work. A current vaccinator’s certificate or willingness to attain the same is desirable.

You will also have the ability to work autonomously, must be self-motivated and have highly developed skill in assessment and diagnostic reasoning to succeed in this role. Demonstrable empathy with all ages and backgrounds is required as you will be working with a very diverse range of students and staff.

SIT2LRN Distance Learning is a well-recognised provider of tertiary vocational training, offering a comprehensive range of programmes that lead to formal qualifications. Hospitality Technician - 0.6 Proportion (22.5 hours per week)

Southern Institute of Technology’s Queenstown Campus has a vacancy for a suitable qualified and experienced person whose role is to support our tutorial staff teaching on the Certificate in Hospitality programme.

To succeed in this role the successful applicant will need:

• Food safety 167/168 or a willingness to undertake training

• Food knowledge (preferable)

• Computer and administration skills

• Basic knowledge of invoicing and purchasing

• Flexibility and the ability to multi task

• Availability to work flexible hours
