Study Massage Therapy at SIT

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a rewarding career, with the flexibility to work as part of a team in a multidisciplinary clinic or running your own business. Massage therapists promote health and well-being by helping clients to relax, improve physical performance and treat musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

SIT offers massage qualifications from Diplomas, Degrees, and Postgraduate level study. All our courses are NZQA accredited.

Our small class sizes enable us to offer a true ‘hands-on’ approach to massage therapy education. We offer HyFlex/Blended Delivery (distance learning) for BTSM Year 2/NZ Diploma in Remedial Massage and the BTSM Year 3. Both programmes have 3 compulsory on-campus block weeks in Invercargill for approximately 5-7 days. For further information please email Donna Smith.
