Glamour Time

It is a day of glitz and glamour for the special students of Ruru School.

Each year Southern Institute of Technology Floristry students worked closely with the Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy students and STAR tutor to prepare Ruru students for their school ball, working with a small group of boys to make corsages and a small group of girls to make head pieces.

2013 Student Billie Auckram, 18, said the ball was fun because she enjoyed dancing and spending time with friends.

SIT hairdressing tutor Sharon Harper says it's nice to help with the students' special day and it was also a good experience for the SIT students
