SIT Online is seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Operations Manager to provide academic leadership, programme management, and operational oversight across our online learning portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success, fostering innovation in online education, and strengthening industry relationships.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Programme Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to facilitators, managing programme delivery, supporting quality assurance processes, and ensuring students receive an outstanding learning experience. You will work closely with academic staff, industry stakeholders, and support services to maintain high educational standards and drive continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support facilitators in programme planning, delivery, assessment, moderation, and evaluation
• Manage online programme operations, timetabling, student support, and programme administration.
• Contribute to programme development, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Foster strong relationships with industry partners, academic staff, contractors, and key stakeholders
• Support the recruitment, induction, performance management, and professional development of facilitators and academic staff.
• Monitor student engagement, retention, achievement, and feedback to ensure positive learner outcomes.
• Ensure programme compliance with SIT policies, NZQA requirements, and external quality assurance expectations
• Promote continuous improvement through self-assessment, evaluation, research, and scholarship activities.
