NZIST - the national body incorporating all polytechnics and tertiary learning institutes, has a new name. Te Pūkenga was announced as the new, unifying name by Hon Chris Hipkins, Minister of Education.
The ceremony took place last week at Te Pūkenga’s head office, which is located at Wintec city campus in Hamilton.
Te Pūkenga’s Council carried out comprehensive public consultation and stakeholder engagement before recommending the new name and visual identity to the Minister.
