Massage New Zealand members are invited to participate in a study on the common work-related injuries among massage therapists.

It is hoped that this study will create awareness of common injuries, and prompt discussion and research on therapist self-care. This study involves answering an anonymous, electronic survey.

Third year BTSM student Katja Matuschke-Fisher would like to invite Remedial massage Therapists to participate in her research project by sharing your views in a 15-20 minute one to one phone conversation. The purpose of the project is to explore massage therapists perspectives of the challenges they encounter during client assessment. This research project will also investigate if massage therapists consider client willingness to play a role in completing a comprehensive health assessment.
