SIT Queenstown Multicultural Festival

International and domestic students from the Southern Institute of Technology’s Queenstown campus have organised a multicultural event for early December.

The event named ’SIT Move as One’ aims to strengthen the sense of solidarity and unity among the students and staff from diverse backgrounds, and members of the local community.

A free event, the Multicultural Festival will showcase cultural performances, fashion and fabulous cuisine prepared by SIT Queenstown’s cookery students.

For those keen to test their geographic knowledge, there will also be a fun quiz.

The event will be held at Remarkables Primary School, Lake Avenue, Frankton on Friday, December 6 from 5pm to 8pm, with entry available from 4.15pm

Tickets are limited and must be register before November 29 by emailing Guna.Baskaran@sit.ac.nz.
