SIT supports Southland Entertainment Awards 2015

The Southern Institute of Technology is pleased to announce their support of Michael Buick, winner of the SIT Contribution to Music Development Award and Vance Manu, former SIT Music student who won the Guitarist of the Year award at the 2015 Southland Entertainment Awards. The Southern Institute of Technology pride themselves in the development and support of music and entertainment in Southland producing graduates in contemporary music, audio production and digital music.

SIT Marketing Manager Chami Abeysinghe said, “We congratulate Michael and Vance on their awards. It’s great that they have been acknowledged for their skill, dedication and passion for the industry. It was also great to see so many SIT alumni nominated for awards across the board in different facets of the entertainment industry which really signifies the strong contribution skilled SIT graduates are giving to the industry.”
