MAINZ Auckland Campus

The Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) Auckland campus is now located at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Māngere Campus. The Māngere campus is within walking distance to the Māngere Town Centre and students have access to a full range of facilities and student support services.

Our MAINZ programmes have a strong practical focus and are designed with the end goal of graduates achieving employment in the music industry. We are responsive to the industry’s needs and our tutors are all seasoned industry professionals with extensive knowledge and experience. Studying at MAINZ Auckland gives students a great place to learn, develop and gain access to amazing music, live sound and events opportunities.

MAINZ Auckland delivers Music programmes from Short Courses and Certificates to Graduate Diplomas.

2022 Semester One has begun!

All students were warmly welcomed on Monday 21 February with an online mihi whakatau. Our usual pōwhiri was cancelled because of covid-19 public health measures.

We appreciate the support of Blackie and Tui to ensure that our students began their 2022 student journey at MAINZ Auckland respecting and upholding the tikanga and the key values of manaakitanga (respect, generosity and care for others) and whakawhanaungatanga (the process of establishing relationships).

MAINZ Auckland is OPEN for teaching and learning on campus at 15 Canning Crescent, Mangere.
