  • Database application, desktop publishing, image editing, documents and folder organisation.
  • Internet browsers, search engines and communication.
  • Computer systems, security, compliance and troubleshooting.

This qualification may assist graduates to obtain entry level positions in a range of industries.

This qualification will assist graduates in improving digital literacy and capability in society, in a range of personal, community and voluntary areas.

There are no entry requirements for this course.

To satisfactorily complete the New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2), and be awarded this qualification the student must successfully achieve: -

  • A minimum of 40 credits in accordance with the Programme Schedule for the New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2).
  • The student will normally be expected to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Computing (User Fundamentals) (Level 2) full-time over three months or part-time over 2 years.

(Please note; students failing to attend for 80% of timetabled programme hours may forfeit zero fees entitlement)
