Outreach/Engagement/Impact
Mark Baynes is a British jazz pianist and composer, who has performed alongside Eric Marienthal (Chick Corea), King Kapisi, Che-Fu, Tony Christie (UK), Anika Moa, Don McGlashan, the APO, a Broadway cast, and at Glastonbury Festival (UK), AWME (AU), the Middle East and Canada as a pianist and Musical Director. Mark was a guest arranger for a RNZB production of Hansel and Gretel (recorded by the NZSO), written by composer Claire Cowan (Aotearoa Music Awards 2021 Finalist). In 2021 he collaborated with Troy Kingi on an upcoming single, and composed an album with Latin GRAMMY Award Winner Mireya Ramos (NYC).
