Dr Claudia Gonnelli

Claudia’s PhD looked at the role of legislated public participation during large scale wind farm proposals in Italy and Aotearoa New Zealand. Specifically, her thesis focused on the perspective of local authorities and how stakeholder’s perception can affect the spaces for and the outcomes of public engagement. Claudia’s research interests include renewable energy, citizen science and community energy, public participation, sustainable development, and gender issues.
