Hairdressing - Tara Lowe
The New Zealand Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation Apprentice of the Year was one of Tara Lowe's goals which became a reality in 2007.
The young achiever had always strived to get good results with the main motivation being to prove cynics wrong, and that she did, with the help of SIT. "I wanted to show a family friend that hairdressing is not just glamour and glitz - you do need brains," she said.
