The Southern Institute of Technology's flexible delivery area is looking for registrations of interest from suitably qualified people interested in either the development or facilitation of flexible learning through SIT's mixed mode delivery programme, SIT2LRN.
In particular, SIT2LRN is looking for registrations of interest in the areas of:
- Renewable Energy
- Business
- Learning Resources Development, Use and Evaluation
- Retail and Hospitality
- Early Childhood Educators (with a post-graduate qualification and research background/experience)

Nanny Programme - Can you support our Nanny Programme?
We are looking for families willing to share the skills and knowledge required for bringing up their children with a prospective Nanny. You will have a student placed with your family to work alongside you, meeting the daily demands of family life for 2 weeks at a time during the day. In return your Nanny can give you time out for coffee, movies or just to relax!
We are also looking for live-in placements preferably on farms or in the country for Nanny students in the last 2 weeks of October.

Nurse Educators - Full-time or Part-time
Southern Institute of Technology is a well recognised provider of tertiary vocational training, offering a comprehensive range of programmes that lead to formal qualifications. We are currently looking to appoint nurse educators on either a full-time or part-time basis.
If you are a Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate, hold a post graduate qualification and have a commitment to nurses of the future then we want to hear from you.
We are seeking applications from registered nurses who hold a minimum of a postgraduate certificate or Masters or are studying for Masters in a health related area. Expertise in the foundations of nursing practice and nursing knowledge is essential. Recent practice experience in Medical/Surgical, Mental Health, Pediatrics or secondary care settings is desirable. Above all you'll be a good communicator with a strong aspiration to work with a motivated and committed group of students and staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the region's largest provider of tertiary vocational training. Lifestyle opportunities exist, with Invercargill being in close proximity to some of the finest outdoor areas in New Zealand.
While previous teaching experience would be an advantage, training is available in this area with academic staff being encouraged to undertake study towards the National Diploma of Adult Education and Training, offered through SIT.

LIFE MODELS
Southern Institute of Technology is seeking expressions of interest from females and males interested in becoming Life Models (undraped) for their Arts programmes. While work may include some evenings we are primarily looking to employ life models 9.00 am - 11.00 am Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
