How Do I Enrol?

Enrolment ProcessClick a link for the type of enrolment you require:

  • Standard application form - for on-campus courses
  • SIT2LRN Study Anywhere application - for distance learning. Please see individual programmes for application forms.
  • International application - for students who are not New Zealand citizens, New Zealand permanent residents or Australian citizens residing in New Zealand
  • STAR/Gateway application form School co-ordinators can enrol student online

The Enrolment Process

To ensure your enrolment is processed in a timely manner, please ensure you read the following requirements carefully.

Returning Students: 

The Tertiary Education Commission requires returning students (those who have previously studied with SIT) to send a photo identification with their enrolment form. This does not require verification and can be a copy of any existing photo identification (e.g. passport, driver’s license, 18+ card). This is only for returning students.

New Students:

All new students (those who have never studied with SIT) are required to provide verified identification (e.g. passport, birth certificate). This does not include a driver’s license (as noted on application forms). Verified identification means a copy of your full birth certificate or passport that has been verified by a Justice of the Peace, school principal or any government department.

Fee Payment: 

All fees must be paid prior to commencement of study (either by student loan, credit card, or cheque). Students wishing to pay via internet banking will find the banking details on the invoice that they received.

Zero Fees Scheme - Cost Comparison

Our Zero Fees Scheme means we pay your tuition fees, so all you have to pay for are the direct material costs for your course.  Many of our graduates are able to start their careers debt-free! This is not an exaggeration – on any given degree, our students save at least $15,000 on tuition fees, as you can see in the chart below.
