SIT have their own Fashion Shop! Located in the SIT Arcade (between Esk and Don Streets), this shop sells clothing and art made and designed here in Invercargill, by graduates and current students of SIT. The Shop is also a work space, so you can come in and see fashion in the making!
The SIT Fashion Shop was set for fashion students undertaking the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Enterprise, while also serving undergraduates enabling them to sell the clothes they make while studying.
Not only do fashion students learn how to design and produce clothing, they also are supported by learning essential elements of starting up their own business, with expert help from the business and fashion departments. The students enjoy this retail space that helps nurture their vision, encouraging them to realise their dreams and aspirations.
