Unit Standards 4646 and 16705

This two day programme covers the unit standards required to gain the Licence Controller Qualification.  It is compulsory to hold this qualification if applying for the General Managers Certificate, and is important for people working or intending to work in a supervisory role in a licenced premises.

Please note this programme is not Government funded and the Zero Fees Scheme does not apply.  Cost is $250 (incl GST) which will be invoiced to you on enrolment. Fees must be paid before you commence the programme.

This programme provides theory based units.  It is designed to assess the knowledge of people studying in this area who are responsible for liquor sales and service in the hospitality industry, and also for those requiring the knowledge and implications of the terms and conditions of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

It also helps people to be able to demonstrate knowledge of alcohol and intoxication, and the responsibilities and requirements for alcohol service in a licensed commercial environment.

US4646  Demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises

US16705  Demonstrate knowledge of host responsibility requirements as a duty manager of a licensed premise

Please note that US4646 and US16705 are theory based.

This is an open-entry programme for students aged 16 years and older.
