SIT is fully accredited for this qualification and has a Memorandum of Collaboration with the ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO) and is a Delegated Assessment Organisation – which enables SIT to offer training and assessment opportunities for all Standard Sets, except Standard Set B, where assessment will be completed through ETITO’s assessment system.

SIT is offering the following training and assessment options:
For Standard Sets A, D and E:
- Assessment only – SIT will provide the student with assessment materials and assessment timeframe. Student to complete assessments and submit to SIT for marking within the assessment timeframe.
- Distance Education – SIT will provide the student with a Blackboard™ Learning Management internet course, learning materials, facilitator support, and assessment for the duration of the enrolment intake.
- Full Training & Assessment – SIT will provide the students with a Blackboard™ Learning Management internet course, learning materials, facilitator support, and assessment and a 2 day face-to-face course in their area. Requirement of 4 students minimum; 10 students maximum for this option.
For Standard Set B – SIT will assist students in liaising with the ETITO to book and undertake the ETITO required examination for this Standard Set.
For Standard Set C – SIT, as a Delegated Assessment Organisation with the ETITO, can offer either:
- Assessment Only – SIT will load Candidates into the ETITO assessment system to provide access to the approved Candidate Assessment Pack. Candidates will work through and submit assessment information via the ETITO online assessment site. These materials will then be reviewed by the SIT Delegated Assessor, who will also facilitate a Competency Discussion (by phone or site visit) with the candidate. Note - the Competency Discussion is recorded. The Delegated Assessor’s recommendations are submitted to ETITO for validation and award of credit by ETITO.
- Training and Assessment – In addition to the assessment as described above, SIT will also provide online facilitation and personal mentoring sessions to assist candidates to prepare for assessment.
