SIT’s Zero Fees Scheme continues for 2024

Finances

StudyLinkStudyLink handle all student loans and allowances and are located in the Invercargill Community Link Centre at 33 Gala Street. Students can get advice and support by calling 0800 88 99 00 and making an appointment. A freephone service is situated in the SIT Main Administration block of the Tay Street campus, Studylink operates by appointments only.

Students can also access StudyLink and obtain information and advice from the website www.studylink.govt.nz and use the “Ask a question” service, find out what student finance they may be able to get, and apply online. Students can also use MyStudyLink – a personal online account to:

  • Check the status of their Student Allowance or Student Loan applications.
  • View and update personal details – such as income, addresses or bank details.
  • Apply for Student Loan course-related costs.
  • See details of their next payment and previous transactions.
  • View their mail online.
  • View and accept their Student Loan Contract.

Domestic Student account queries can be directed to Student Debtors in the Administration Department and International Student money matters can be directed to the International Department.

Students whose fees are paid by StudyLink or any external organisation are responsible to follow up with them to ensure their fees get paid before the course starts.
