The aim of this programme is to produce students who demonstrate competence in skills, knowledge and work habits, that are both directly relevant to working or further training in the travel industry and to standards recognised by the industry sector as appropriate. Students have access to in-house Galileo training.
19 weeks
The National Certificate in Travel (Level 4) recognises the skills and knowledge required in making and processing international travel arrangements that meet customer needs; including the ability to make computerised reservations for domestic land, water and air travel, and domestic and international accommodation. The course also covers dealing with difficult situations and customer complaints; applying calculations and data analysis; and presenting information orally to an audience.
